We’re hiring an Analytics & Optimization Specialist to join our team full-time in our Capitol Hill, Denver office. This is an exciting opportunity to build upon your foundation in data analytics, technical SEO, conversion-based marketing, and PPC Marketing. Acting as a digital consultant both internally and alongside clients’ projects, the Analytics & Optimization Specialist will work to build out Spire’s marketing efforts and jump in on agency clientele’s marketing initiatives while partnering with our existing in-house marketer. We are looking for you to be a thought-leader at the technical, performance-driven side of marketing so that you can own testing, quick/minimal website edits, strategize & execute campaigns and then test their performance using various tools such as Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Google Optimize, etc.
The Analytics and Optimization Specialist will be expected to:
The Analytics & Optimization Specialist will have experience with marketing automation and lead generation, ideally in a business-to-business, agency setting. By working in partnership with our Product, Design, Sales, and Technology teams, you will regularly generate ideas, build campaigns, and effectively market Spire Digital across various online channels to generate new business and further the company’s brand recognition as a leader in digital product development.
Google Analytics: Strongly prefer certification in GA or expert-level proficiency
PPC: 1+ years of experience leading paid search strategy and executing campaigns. Strong preference for candidates with Adwords certification. Comfortable taking the reins and require little direction.
Web Analysis: 2+ years’ experience in Web Analytics. Analyzes a website’s key performance metrics and competitive trending. Creates forecasts, as well as operational and statistical tools and models. Other duties may include directing queries and analyzing databases and logs to produce daily, weekly and monthly reports. Makes recommendations regarding process improvements and helps develop utilization performance policies and procedures. May participate in preparation of surveys, requests for proposals or approval, and client discussions regarding project status. May require proficiency with specific web analytics software.
Communication: 1+ year of experience working directly with clients; this person should have a natural ability to consult internal teams & external clients.
Email Marketing: 1+ year of hands-on email marketing experience setting up and/or deploying campaigns in an ESP such as Marketo, Pardot, Constant Contact, MailChimp or similar.
A successful Analytics & Optimization Marketer coming to Spire Digital will have:
- Consulting/agency experience
- Comfortability with client-facing responsibilities
- Comfortable with data analysis and data science
- E-commerce experience
- Expert with optimization tools
- General knowledge of testing
- Knowledge of website workings (HTML very strongly preferred)
- Design experience
- Experience executing, planning, creating strategy for email marketing (development, design, analytics)
- Experience with SEM, display and programmatic
- Firm knowledge of technical SEO
- Strong understanding of web analytics and business application
- Understanding of email marketing services (ESPs) – please include which ESPs you have experience within your resume
- Knowledge of popular CMSs and eCommerce platforms
- Sales experience is a great plus (in addition to marketing skills)
